KFC Female Farmers Programme

Empowering Black women-owned agribusinesses to grow, strengthen and expand their market presence

Through the YUM Foundation, KFC is committed to supporting the growth and development of Black women-owned agricultural businesses across South Africa. The KFC Female Farmers Programme helps strengthen operational capacity, enhance market access, and build long-term business sustainability for agribusinesses that are ready to take their next step.

The programme is designed for farmers and producers who are already active in their communities and now need structured support, mentorship, and industry best-practice guidance to expand responsibly. Participants receive capacity-building support and developmental opportunities — without any expectation or positioning of supplying KFC.

By investing in emerging women-led enterprises, the KFC Female Farmers Programme contributes to building a more sustainable and inclusive agricultural ecosystem. Through mentorship, skills development and targeted support, the programme empowers women farmers to grow their businesses, strengthen their operations, and unlock new opportunities within the broader agricultural sector.

If your agribusiness has the readiness, ambition, and potential to grow, we invite you to apply.
